Charles F. Day and Associates is accepting applications for experienced Computer Systems Analysts for work located at Ft. Sill, OK.

Job Duties:  Performs duties as a Computer Systems Analyst I for the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Multi-resolution (MRF) and Entity resolution federations (ERF) providing the end user with a command post exercises simulation configured to the specifications provided by the senior Computer Systems Analyst and Program Manager. Major tasks include the physical setup, configuration, operation and integration of simulation hardware and software components with other ABCS databases. Serves as simulations operator and database developer on various systems.


Essential/Required Skills

  • Must have a minimum of four years' experience conducting simulations.
  • Should possess the ability to setup and teardown ABCS and simulation work stations prior to and after all training events.
  • Requires some knowledge of networks, servers, ABCS and the ability to serve as an ABCS system administrator.
  • Should have knowledge of computer hardware and software applications and be versed in all aspects of computer information management.
  • Should have the experience or ability to learn to operate JLLTC-ERF and supporting simulations systems to include but not  limited to: JCATS, Simple, FireSim, EXCIS, MUSE/META VR, AARS, JDLM, JNEM and other supporting systems.
  • Experience with Army Low Overhead Tactical Trainers (ALOTT) preferred.
  • Required to become proficient with future versions of  the simulations, ABCS and operating systems as they evolve.
  • Responsible for creation and/or modification of  simulation scenarios utilizing government provided software and hardware.
  • Performs installation, maintenance and backup of necessary software, hardware and data files used in scenario development.
  • Coordinates with collective training team, other  Mission Training Complexes and military units to exchange technical data for scenario builds and implementation of the finished product.
  • Provides updates to military personnel and civilian counterparts regarding scenarios and their construction. Other duties as directed by the site manager.     

Required Experience/Qualifications     

  • BS/BA Computer Systems from a 4 year accredited college or university.
  • Must be a US citizen with a secret or higher security clearance or the ability to obtain one; applicant will be subject  to a government security investigation. 
  • Must be willing to travel outside Fort Sill 2-4 times/year for up to 2 weeks/trip. 
  • Must be a disciplined worker capable of meeting short suspense(s) without intense supervision. Security + required. A+, Network + or other technical certifications are a bonus.
  • Basic knowledge of JLLTC-ERF simulations and ABCS  required.
  • Experience with Army Low Overhead Tactical Trainers (ALOTT) preferred.
