Education: Bachelor's degree with 10 years' experience in an intelligence discipline OR Associates degree with 12 years' experience in an intelligence discipline.


Summary: Provide support to worldwide information requirements through the identification, collection, and aggregation of OSINT, media, social media, gray literature, or other publicly available information. Identify any products for dissemination.  Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) from various sources.  Engage with deploying/deployed units, providing recommendations regarding publicly available information collection strategies to align with their information requirements.  Draft and update publicly available information collection best practices, continuously identify new sources of publicly available information using multiple sources including websites, databases, and email distribution lists.  Maintain the OSINT SOP documenting all OSINT tasks. Provide draft revisions and updates when procedures change.  Identify new open source and publicly available information through the road-mapping process.


Minimum Requirements:


  • 10 years demonstrated experience in an intelligence discipline working in the DoD or IC within the last 15 years.
  • 6 years demonstrated experience working in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, or analysis or the exploitation of publicly available information or social media.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the deep and dark web, social media and social networking sites, and OSINT research and operational Security best practices.
  • Demonstrated understanding of intelligence oversight and OSINT legal and policy directives and limitations.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and ability to produce reports incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience with application of metadata and using Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to instruct and interact with small groups on data and information requirements and coordination tasks.



  • 4 years demonstrated experience leading a team and managing work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.


Special preference given to candidates who live in a Hub Zoned area.
