Position Duties:

  • Software Support


  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge and in-depth experience in the technical concepts, practices, and procedures relating to Extensible Markup Language (XML) Content Management, XML Authoring,
    XML output processing, using tools such as SiberSafe Content Management, JustSystems XMetal, Adobe Framemaker and similar software.


  • Provide technical support, to include software updates, troubleshooting and end-user support with regards to all electronic publishing, office productivity, and multimedia software.


  • Build, manage and provide desktop support for collaborative applications such as SharePoint.


  • Build, manage and update several local and public websites.


  • Build, manage and update common Software Development Kit (SDK) interfaces and software scripting such as Java, Javascript, ASP.NET, XSLT in support of electronic publishing and logistics-related applications.


  • Desktop/Server Support:


  • Provide comprehensive support to system users requesting help. The Contractor shall document, track, report, and resolve system incidents and problems identified by users. This may include questions, problems, or other requests for assistance by users.


  • Install, troubleshoot and maintain a variety of software on client workstations and maintain them in an operational status.


  • Maintain, support and troubleshoot common devices such as photocopy machines, network printers, network scanners and peripherals.


  • Identify and resolve problems with all hardware, software, systems and peripherals.


  • Audio Video (A/V) Teleconference Support:


  • Exhibit a strong understanding in computer operations, the current MS Office Suite applications, and desktop VTC applications


  • Maintain proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting techniques of VTC and A/V equipment


  • Provide daily user support for all VTC and A/V equipment.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline


  • IAT Level II certification (GSEC, CompTIA Security+, SCNP, SSCP)


  • Networking Systems Certification (Cisco, Juniper), MSCE, AD certification 


  • Knowledge of US Army and DoD Information Technology/Cybersecurity regulations and best practices


  • Experience in the area of US Army Information Technology/Cybersecurity services


  • Knowledge and past experience with providing support for Microsoft Windows servers, including but not limited to daily administration, hardening, backups, and disaster recovery


  • Knowledge and past experience with operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of IT hardware, to include servers, desktops, laptops, audio/video equipment, for a large amount of users


  • Knowledge of and past experience with operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of software, to include the Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft SharePoint, SiberSafe XML Content Management System, XMetaL Author, and Adobe FrameMaker, for a large amount of users
