Charles F. Day & Associates, LLC is accepting resumes for contingent work located in Fort Belvoir, VA.

Location of Work: Fort Belvoir, VA

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI

Education: BA or BS degree in any discipline- Government may accept candidates with exceptional relevant experience on a case by case basis

Position Duties:

  • Supports all aspects of the INSCOM Operations Orders processing for the G3.
  • Track all draft INSCOM orders (OPORDs, WARNORDs, and FRAGORDs) utilizing the INSCOM Automated OPORD Process and provide guidance to staff order writers concerning orders processing.
  • Revise draft orders and submit properly formatted drafts for approval, either hard copy or electronically. 
  • Monitor status of submitted operational orders and disseminate orders to the IMCC Operations Cell for Command-wide dissemination once approved by INSCOM Commander, INSCOM G-3, or their designated representative. 
  • Monitor orders suspenses, follow up on missed suspenses, and provide the government a status of all published and pending orders in an OPORD Tracking Briefing. 
  • Draft and staff orders and maintain orders files within the INSCOM network and SharePoint portal.


Minimum Requirements:





  • BA or BS degree in any discipline- Government may accept candidates with exceptional relevant experience on a case by case basis
  • 12-15 years Army or Joint All Source Intelligence experience
  • Demonstrated experience as a staff member at Battalion or higher level, with experience as a primary staff officer, primary staff section NCOIC or primary staff section warrant officer preferred
  • Experience with all-source intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analysis
  • Ability to deliver global situational awareness in support of planning, synchronization, decision making and execution of client missions using automated systems
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art intelligence analysis tools
  • Working knowledge of the Army's five paragraph operations order
  • Operational Production, Exploitation, and Dissemination Experience
  • Ability to manage research and coordination for projects
  • At least 8 years of experience with military Plans and Operations processes- Experience working with and maintaining databases
